...and I'm beginning to think she's driving her father batshit as well.
They're both 16 years old (no, not the father). They go to school together, they work together, they have sleepovers (my turn this weekend).
I'm not even sure what it specifically is about her that's bugging me except I think she may be making my daughter wilder than she already is (which in the bigger picture isn't all that wild from what people are telling me).
She's a nice enough kid, I guess - just not very bright. When she suggests stupid things, my daughter goes along. Typical example, she talked my daughter into cranking up my car stereo and blew a speaker. My daughter gets all excited that we HAVE to go visit "her" friend and it eventually turns out it's the other kid's friend.
I don't really want to discourage the friendship - she's a nice enough kid, just not really up to my standards. I just want my daughter to wise up a bit around her.
Suggestions?
