My grandson is most of the time a bright and happy 27 month old. The daycare workers, his great-grandparents, his mom, and I think he is pretty special. One of his favorite sentences is, "I love you Mommy." (He also says it to Nonnie that’s me, Mamaw, Papaw or Phoebe that’s a stuffed toy) My concern is his seemingly distaste for music. If we sing songs to him or adults on child appropriate television sing, he says, “Stop, it.” He doesn't seem to mind children singing. He also responds to children and adults dancing on these programs with the same command. I have never seen a child not dance when music is played. Does anyone have any thoughts about such decidedly unchildlike behavior.
