Who's into/using/avoiding Python?

I've been learning it. I resisted it at first, but I'm finding it to be quite to my liking.

And so is Bruce.

1. I've decided I like it a lot.

The Python front ends of various Linux applications are easy to play around with.

2. Python's a great first programming language!

And I say this as a software engineer.

It's easy enough to be a learning language, but at the same time, powerful enough to be used for real work.

3. I've been using it for quite a while

I must admit that I use it in a C-like manner, though. When I first started with it, I was highly confused by the more "Pythonic" ways of doing things -- list comprehensions and such. And I guess I got into the habit of using it in that way. But, hey, it works for me. One of these days, I'm going to dedicate a few days to learning the proper Pythonic mindset. In the meantime, I'm getting my stuff done. :)
