1. That is pretty cool. I had forgotten about some of those
older ones. Still it is missing machine-specific and occupation-specific standard languages, but a very good attempt.

How many? Been out of it a few years. I guess PERL and C if I had to.

Take a look at the timeline one.... notice how all the inter-relations stopped just about the time MS gained domination. I wonder if it will ever be fun again.

2. Fortran IV was the first

and last language I mastered. A bit in Basic later on, but FortranIV convinced me that the difference between adjacent keyboard characters was far less important than other issues of the day, and harder to unveil.
