I'm an American Indian historian, and I never knew this existed, until tonight when I was scouting the net for something else and came across this. The video was made of Sioux who were traveling with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, which traveled across the US and Europe for thirty years after late-19th-century reservation confinement of Plains Indians. Even Totanka Yotanka traveled with Buffalo Bill. Anyway, the video is amazing in that it shows Sioux men doing the Ghost Dance, which no whites were ever supposed to see--and white authorities so feared it that they outlawed it.
