linux dual boot options?

I'm looking to try out some linux dual boot stuff. What distro can i download that will work with a minimum of linux knowledge? I'm very pc and hardware savvy, but have very little experience with linux.

3. I seriously recommend

downloading and burning a copy of Knoppix.

It's a complete Linux distribution on a single CD. It allows you to boot off the CD and try Linux out before installing. Some of the large distributions such as Mandrake (http://www.mandrakesoft.com/products/mandrakemove) have live CDs that will allow you try out the distribution and later install it.

4. For Dual Booting, Suse would probably be your best choice...

...it also lets you resize partitions without causing any damage. I did it on my PC and laptop. Very easy.
