For P-ATA or S-ATA, I'm not fussy, but I'm not seeing too much on newegg and are surely other options than them?
Thx!

Mostly for PC systems there is only one go to vendor for that. promise technologies. The other thing is that this feature is included in almost all new motherboards. A hell of a lot cheaper than a card solution. As a matter of fact it is probably cheaper to buy a sata raid provisioned mother board than to buy a standalone card. SATA is making in roads into the enterprise and most are still made by.... you guessed it promise Technologies and then re-branded. So if you need a card solution the players are
Promise Technologies Tekram 3Ware Adaptec
If you search on those companies sites i am sure you can find a model you will like.
