Is there a way to test USB port speed?

For some crazy reason, my comp was made with some USB 1.1 and some USB 2 ports.. I only realized this when I attached something a while ago to one, and it said "you've plugged something in to a low speed usb port, and you have some open high speed ones. maybe you should try again". But I've never managed to get this warning back up again, so I can't tell which ones are which.

1. All USB devices are backward compatible

with v1.1. They won't mix speeds on a mobo, so if you have v2 ports, they're on an addon port card. Look at the PCI slots on the back of your machine. (It's a stretch, but you may have a built-in port on another addon card, such as a RAID card, or whatever. Doubtful, tho.)

I think the warning is a throwaway-- it may not come back no matter which device you plug into any port.
