Question re pdf file protected from copying.

I have a pdf file of a document in the public domain that is password protected from copying.

How might one convert such a file to a gif or jpg or other format for dissemination?

1. I have found some things that can't be copied

but I also found I could use Print key 2000 v5

2. have you tried acrobat's screen capture tool?

It's the camera icon on the toolbar. Select, click and drag to select area (or press ctrl-a to select all); the area will flash when it's captured, then store the image in the clipboard. Paste into another program to create a file.
