Firefox AdBlock Extension Filters
Edited on Sun Feb-27-05 05:15 PM by Berserker
If you use "Firefox" Adblock is a GREAT tool. You can also remove any picture from any site or avatars if you don't like them. But most importantly you can block ADS. This link will give you a list to import to your adblock.

3. Sure
at the top of adblock you will see a check in Enable Adblock. Uncheck it.

4. Are you talking abt the adblock window itself?..
I'm asking if there is a way to turn it on and off w/o launching the preference window (the one which is opened by going tools|adblock|preferences.)

6. question: blocking Flash ads in Firefox
is there a way to block "flash ads" without disabling Flash?

i often right click on an image and can choose to add the image's source location to a "block" list ... if i then refresh the page, the image is gonee ... but when i try this with "flash images", i don't see a way to block the source of the "flash" ad from displaying in the future ...

it seems that "flash" is being invoked by javascript ... i don't want to disable javascript or flash ...

is there some way to selectively block flash ads on a case by case basis using Firefox?
