DU smilies won't move in Internet Explorer

Don't know why that is. They worked fine this summer until I noticed that these smilies were frozen when surfing DU and other sites that have them using Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have that problem. The move and work fine when using Mozilla Firefox. Is there a way to correct this?

1. Try

looking under Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced --> Multimedia --> Play animations in web pages. See if it's ticked. If not, tick it and click Apply, then OK. You may have to restart your browser for the change to take effect.
