Need help with a silly problem on Word 2007
Okay, here's the situation. I'm using XP and Word 2007. All of a sudden, one day, my little DOCX file icons turned into generic icons, yet my RTF files appeared as the regular Word icons. I am thoroughly confused, and as many of you are probably thinking, anal retentive about this. What's the deal here, anyone know? I'm a not a total computer moron, but I'm really having an issue with this. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

1. Open Windows Explorer-
Click on the 'Tools' menu
Select the 'Folder Options' option
Click the 'File Types' tab
Scroll down to the DOCX entry.
If the associated program is not MS Word, hit the 'Change' button and select MS Word from the list, and hit 'OK' to confirm.

Hope this helps.
