Microsoft offers $250,000 reward
Microsoft is now offering a $250,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of whoever came up with the Conficker/Downadup virus.

Why am I glad all of a sudden that I use a Mac?

1. $250,000? Well, that covers at least four of the 5000 people they're giving the axe.

2. Wait till some clown starts writing them for Macs.
Macs are NOT inherently safer. It's just none of the asses that write shit bother with them since they can't affect that many computers. No OS or type of computer is safe. The "security" of a Mac lies mainly in being ignored by the hackers-so far.
