I have a problem connecting to USPS at usps.com

I've tried usps.gov and tried using the ip address.

Anyone else had the same problem and found a solution?

At this point www.usps.com is the only website I cannot access.

1. How strange.

Are you sure you aren't infected with malware? Which browser(s) are you using? Try deleting all browser temp files and history, close all windows, launch a new one and try again.

2. Done it. Even rebooted. Tried IE and FireFox.

a PING and TRACERT to 96.6.201.188?

4. Works to that IP. Can also ping yahoo but not usps.com

a 'search page' or another error page?

6. Have you checked your HOST file?

G:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Do you have more than one browser and do both act the same?

7. Try this...

Open a command prompt (Start, "Run...", type: "cmd.exe" <enter> )

at the prompt type:

NSLOOKUP www.usps.com

it should return something like this...

Non-authoritative answer:

if not, it is a hosts file or DNS problem.
