Need some help with burning a you tube vid to dvd
Edited on Thu Apr-30-09 09:54 AM by madokie
Ie8 on xp sp3. I have the burner and software to burn it with but what do I need to convert it or whatever it's called?
Thanks for the help.
Here is the you tube clip I want to burn to a dvd for gifts to the fair and balanced people I know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35eRxxZ-Ar0. If some of them weren't long time friends I'd be calling them SOB's I'm sure :-)

1. DVD Flick will transcode virtually any video format and burn a playable DVD
I've tested it using FLV and mp4, the two file types you're likely to download from YouTube. Obviously, if the targeted DVD player supports those formats directly, then no transcoding is required. But if you want to maximize interoperability, then use the following or something similar.

4. You don't need a program to do that
Just play the video.

And then go into your internet cache. I think it's called "Temporary Internet Files" on Windows.

Then sort the files based on last modification, and the file you want should be at the top or bottom of the list, depending if the sort is descending or ascending.

Hope that helps.
