HP develops P2P darknet
Yes, Hewlett Packard. To be debuted at an upcoming Blackhat conference. Go figure.
The main aim for the project – aside from lowering the barriers to entry for darknet use – is to allow easy anonymous file distribution and storage. Wood claims that the system will allow a user to "join the darknet, upload the file and then close his browser and never be associated with that file again."

The interesting thing is that it requires no special client and relies solely on extant browser technology. Apparently, your humble browser now has the chops for anonymous file sharing. Imagine that!

Imagine the ability to post anything you want to the "darknet" and not have to have any responsibility for it.
