Hadn't noticed that before. They must've really
liked being YouTubers :)
I haven't seen the Tech Talks channel, it looks like they've got some great stuff. Thanks!
If you're a web geek, Yahoo's YUI Theater is also a don't-miss. I recommend the presentations by Douglas Crockford.
http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/theaterOf all the themed video sites, I think the one I enjoy the most is TED Talks. They're short presentations, on a stage in front of an audience, by luminaries in various fields. Usually someone who's pushing the envelope in their profession. Scientists, musicians, authors, philosophers, etc, from microbiologist Craig Venter to author Amy Tan. It's always fascinating stuff.
http://www.ted.comI also like visiting The Edge once in a while. It's less pop than TED, more tweedy and intellectually rarified. Interviews and debates, in video and print, with some the sharpest minds of the day. (NOTE: Atheists ahoy! It's not an atheist advocacy site, but you won't find anyone there who'll give more than a half second's consideration to religious matters)
