Afterwards, if you get a 404 error (webpage not found) when surfing the web, the PDFforge toolbar hijacks your browser and automatically redirects you to urlseek20.vmn.net using mybrowserbar.com. 2. No PDFCreator and no PDFforge toolbar to delete in Add/Delete

The only sourceforge software I think I have is Audacity and I've put that on a bunch of computers with no problem.
Also, there's no visible add-on toolbar that I can see. My problem is that I get re-directed to the mybrowserbar site when I try to go to certain other places.

So you might systematically disable browser addons, plug-ins, and tool-bars until you isolate the problem

Perhaps something you've installed changed your DNS to one associated with mybrowserbar, and it gives you their alternative to the usual 404 when it has trouble loading a page. Where do you get redirected if you try to navigate to a nonexistent site, like http://www.thissitedoesnotexist.com ? What happens if you use OPenDNS: https://www.opendns.com/start/ ?

3. Do you have any third party toolbars installed?

Yahoo toolbar redirects with that and so do some others. One of the reasons I won't use toolbars.
It's not malware in itself but a real PITA.
