Past 2 weeks I've had Computers that would freeze (sometimes) with Windows 7...either at start-up or during operation.

Thought it might be the Ram so I changed slots, moved Ram around, used only one stick..and all that stuff... No change...Windows would still Freeze.

Finally, I increased voltages on Ram .2 volts (in my case, from 1.5 to 1.7 volts.
Yes!...Problem resolved.
I thought at first (before increasing Voltages) that Power Supply might be weak but both computers had 850 watts PS so that idea seem..ah...not likely.

Anyway...if you run across this problem..Maybe this will help...and Yes, it solved the problem on Both Computers so it seems to be a solution. :)

2. Well...of course, it depends on the motherboard. most "higher end"..
...boards have a place in the bios to increase the voltage.
Unfortunately,,,most cheaper boards don't. :(

3. lol
you may as well have typed that in mandarin!

I was surfing yesterday and everything froze for about 20 seconds. I could hear the CPU usage running harder and then the screen went into safety mode.

:wtf:
