Amazon Web Services?

All this "cloud" talk goes over my head. Does that mean if something is part of this "cloud," that it's a Creative Commons thing and thus free for anyone to use, so long as they credit the source?

I'm trying to find the owner of a picture found online, and the link in the properties leads me to Amazon Web Services.

I can't even figure out how to post on the forum there, even though I opened an account; seems one needs to be a developer to interact there at all, with codes and such required.

Any suggestions on the best way to find the creator of the photo at the above link, to obtain permission to use?

Thanks!

:hi:

1. Have you used TinEye?

I plugged your image into tineye.com and found this source:

http://www.takepart.com/news/2009/07/22/homeless-families-increasing-in-us/

In case it goes away I'll just mention that the image says "valerieeverett's photostream (CC)" under it. Not sure what that means.

Edit: This link also goes here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/valeriebb/255831635/

2. valerieeverett's photostream (CC) =
valerie everett's photostream (CC)

The CC stands for Creative Commons license.
"With a Creative Commons license, you keep your copyright but allow people to copy and distribute your work provided they give you credit — and only on the conditions you specify here. For those new to Creative Commons licensing, we've prepared a list of things to think about. If you want to offer your work with no conditions or you want to certify a work as public domain, choose one of our public domain tools."
