Recommendations for DVD to iPod converter.

Have an iPod Classic so I can add more movies. What's a good conversion program. I just jumped into the iPod world. Don't like a lot of things but my kids are using iPods and it makes sharing our digital stuff easier if I am, too.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

eta: I am running Windows 7 on the computer in question.
