Holy Mole, Batman! I just installed Flash Blocker and what a difference!
My browser had slowed down to a crawl, to the point that It was painful waiting for pages to load (15 sec to 1 minute or more).

A friend clued my in that it was Adobe flash animations that were slowing everything down. He suggested I install Firefox flash blocker, which I did.

Man, the difference is startling. It's like having a brand new machine!

Unbelievable!


Now I am really pissed at Adobe.

1. Blame the websites that think overloading their pages with flash
is the thing to do.

But there are plenty of business websites that use flash for everything and anything on their pages.
