any suggestions? I have tried ipconfig release and renew with no success. Could this be a hardware problem?

|
Power down, then remove both line and power plugs for a minute or two. Plug in again and wait for lights to come up.

but I have turned off everything and then turned it on again. The connection will last for about a minute and then is lost again and does not respond to repair.
