Is there antivirus software that scans the contents of volatile memory for viruses?

Just in case it's not clear what I mean by the contents of "volatile" memory, I am referring to primary storage, to what is lost if it isn't saved before the system is shut down and powered off. Saving means saving to some kind of secondary storage, such as a hard drive or DVD.

Note: I didn't say that it's lost if it isn't manually saved. It could be saved without a specific request by the user for it to be saved.

Flash Scan is available only to registered users (paid version--real-time)of MBAM. Flash scan concentrates on 2 areas of malware activity, loaded processes and loading points for those processes. If there is malware there, flash will detect one or both components and then users know its time to run a quick scan/fullscan to complete removal.

Flash scans will not use the full spectrum of detections (scanning files on the computer, removal and fixing) like the quickscan.

2. The paid version is money well spent

As well as the flash (and on-demand context menu) scanning, you get access to the scheduler and can set it to update and scan at time and intervals of your choice.
