I need some mac help please.

I have an iBook G4. Someone posted with a picture in their post in the GD forum. I would like to copy the picture and make it so that it appears in my posts as well (with permission).

I have no idea how to do this. I've tried to do things like this in the past and it always tells me the pick is the wrong size or something. Can anyone help?? I'm old and dumb, what can I say.

1. A couple of simple steps

1. You need to get the picture on your computer. Right click on the image and choose 'Save Image as', then give it a name and select a folder to save it in.

2. If the picture is to be an avatar it needs to be resized to 48x48 pixels. If you wish to use it in your sig line, it can be up to 500x200 px (or 20kb).

3. Go to the edit Profile section on DU options and upload the image.

Let me know which image you want to use and how ie. avatar or signature. It may be practical for me to download and resize the picture then send it back to you. Feel free to msg. :)

I have it saved to my desktop. I don't know how to do #3 once I'm at Edit profile.
