Has anybody else experienced password glitches?

On two separate websites, DU is one of them, I had trouble logging in. It was either taking forever to get into the login page, or I had to input the password three times before I got in. In both cases, I changed the password and went smoothly in.

I have experienced this hang up before on facebook when I shared the password with a friend. I assumed the hang up occurred because we couldn't log in at the same time. Could this be a reasonable explanation why my password won't work on DU? I don't recall having other windows open at the same time, but it's possible.

1. Thoughts:

1- Have you scanned for malware ? I forget at the moment what password stealers are called.

2- Possible corruption of your browser files ? If so, reinstall is necessary.

Out of the two thoughts, I would do a malware scan ASAP.

on edit: The malware is called a Trojan.

I did run a couple programs and it seems to be running better.
