phony Yahoo instant message box keeps popping up

Hi all,

Every time I go into my yahoo mail recently, something that looks like an IM dialog box pops up on the bottom right of my screen. It is phony, I know. But I ran malwarebytes, cccleaner and norton. nothing has cleaned it if it some malicious thing.

has anyone seen this? does anyone have any suggestions?

1. is it an ad ? Sometimes ads run these fake looking IM boxes

I went to my own Yahoo Mail and see only regular advertisements.

You might want to go to your Temp folders and clean them out, then check your Yahoo mail again. You said you already ran two or more antivirus, so that probably rules out most if not all malware. Also check your Programs section of Control Panel to make sure you have no weird programs installed by malware.

2. The new Yahoo Main interface does that for offline messages.

It could be legit.
