How can I get all internet websites on my TV?

Not just selected sites, but anything I can get on my computer (like retrovisiontv) I'm able to view on my TV screen.

1. There's several ways.....easiest is to have a video card with HDMI output and ...

..(of course) a TV with a HDMI input.

The HDMI cables off the store shelf are generally waaaay-overpriced. I checked in Best Buy, Staples, Walmart. Target, and Radio Shack. The cheapest I found for what I needed was around $60-80 bucks with a mix of cable and converters.

I found the exact cable I needed on eBay for about $15 with free shipping.

10. If it's not HD, you may be disappointed with the results

Old (NTSC) TVs really only supported about 40 columns of text before legibility would head south. But for watching most non-HD streaming video it should be fine.

A buddy of mine recently bought himself a nifty fifty-something-inch HDTV, and he doesn't even subscribe to cable tv or satellite.

He was showing me all the stuff he can watch, if not exactly in HD, very close.

We watched Sons Of Anarchy, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and all kinds of documentaries and rock concerts, and just about anything you could imagine. It was incredible... enough to make me a little ashamed to be using dialup on a 17-inch monitor. :)

Just check what inputs your tv has, and what outputs your video card has, and find the cables to connect them.

There are also wireless options, if need be, but I have bigger obstacles to jump before I spend too much time worrying about that.

You are on the verge of a great revelation when it comes to home entertainment. Go for it. :hi:

How much is your bill? Mine is about 60, I think. Seems like a lot.

I mostly watch msnbc, cspan, History, IFC, the networks, and HBO. And CNN a little bit, even though Wolf must be one of the dumbest and most annoying people in the world.

Oh, and Stewart and Colbert on Comedy Central.

Seems like I should get that for like five dollars a month. But no.
