Were we hacked?

Hi computer peeps.

I use Logmein to access my company's office computers for my work. We are a very small business.

When I logged in yesterday, Filezilla was open, and it looks like someone outside had been logged in to our computer.

Nobody on site had opened it.



Do you think we are at risk of being hacked because I use Logmein?

Any suggestions for how to make us more secure?

1. few questions....

1- No one else has your login credentials, I assume ?
2- Anything can be hacked, given enough time and expertise.
3- You might want to research a VPN or SSH connection. I'm not a security expert, but those two ideas seem good.

Anyone else ? And no, I'm not sure what happened.

A well-secured connection is usually not going to be hacked because 1) not enough time to do it and 2) usually not enough expertise. So, with those two caveats in mind, a well-secured connection should be good enough. Sorry, didn't mean to cause any unease.
