Looking around for a new phone. I know that I sometimes (often) think and talk best through my fingers (I type real fast), so I've been hunting for some sort of docking station with a Display + Keyboard that I could plug into.
Ideally, phone in one pocket, dock in the other = instant netbook, with the phone's processor providing the computing power.
Nothing too high tech, just good enough for e-mail, latest news, a bit of note-taking and blogging.
Maybe one of the new phones, with a 4 inch screen, would be OK with just a small, folding/portable keyboard?
The bad news was my first choice for a carrier, CREDO, doesn't allow or offer any tethering at all. Salesperson suggested a Blackberry w/USB, but the screens are pretty small on those. (To make room for all the keys at the bottom.)
When I do searches for "Cellphone Netbook" + "Dock Station" I only find dedicated devices, for one specific model phone.
Did I mention a mouse would be nice, too?
Maybe I should just get a netbook, and plug a phone into it from time to time?
