Anyone else using Skype?

It is a free VOIP service ... if you want to "dail out" to a land line the rates are about $1/hour to call anywhere in the US, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, and some of Europe and South America. Their international rates seem pretty good to me too.

I'm trying to get my family to try it out, so I'm wondering if anyone else is using it and what their experiences are.

1. When it works it is great

It is a little flaky at times but the quality is great. It beats Yahoo IM voice hands down. I have never used the paid service, just computer to computer. I use a headset to cut down the background noise. You can conference up to 4 people at a time I think.

I have had connection problems with one particular user. The quality is really great.
