Video card help.
OK, I'll be ordering the parts for my long-awaited home build on Friday, but I'm still stuck on the video card. I'm using a ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Socket A (Socket 462) NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 ATX AMD Motherboard with an AGP 8X slot for video. I don't plan on doing hard-core gaming, maybe some Sims 2, photo editing and some graphics work (and watching the occasional vid clip).
Anyway, here (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814121197) is a card I considered, but it is a bit steep. I figure I should go with a higher-end card in the long run, because I may need it someday. If anyone can steer me to a more economical, yet effective, video card, please do. Thanks in advance!

1. I would go with the 6600 series
because in another month they will be the lower end cards anyway. Sounds like a very good card for the $$!

2. That's a gamer's card
It's a good card at a good price but if the most intensive thing you will do to it is the Sims 2 you could get by with less. You might look at an ATI 9800 Pro or even an ATI Radeon 9600XT. They will run what you want to do with no problem provided you give them a decent processor and a gig of RAM.

3. I just got this one...

I haven't put it in yet - I have a couple other parts coming, and I want to do it all at once.
