I think there is a setting on internet options I can set, what is it?

1. Links on web pages? Or links in email?

What browser are you using and which links are you trying to open? I can't help you with Internet Explorer because I use the Opera browser, and also Firefox, but you might try the right click menu when your mouse pointer is on the link.

2. I'm using ie6

I've tried the right click open thing, hasn't worked I've been chasing a bug, it's possible that it's messing with me.

3. You using popup stopping software?

Those will prevent links from opening up. Sometimes if you hold down the Control key and click the link, it will work.
