printer won't grab the paper
if I "shove" each page into the printer feeder it will grab and start to print. otherwise it is unable to grab it. I found two "rollers" in the feeder and found that if I moisten them a bit, it grabs the paper for a while, but then starts slipping again.

is there something I can do? replace the rollers? put something more permanent on them besides saliva?

any ideas?

1. You can buy printer roller cleaner
Which is probably something like Windex, but more expensive. But before you use Windex, read the contents label on the roller cleaner.

2. Must be an HP.
Get canned air and blow the sucker out. (Might want to do that outside.) Make sure you get all paper paths well.

Then, Q-tips, a clean lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Carefully clean all the rubber rollers you can reach, both inside and outside. Be very careful not to get alcohol on the print heads. Look for paper shards and don't leave any cotton lint from the Q-tips in the printer.

If it is still jams, you might want to have it serviced. N.B. a new printer would be cheaper.
