iTunes Help!

All I want to know is where did the music files that iTunes copied go to on my hard drive so I can delete them.

Every time I upgrade iTunes, it copies the files when it adds them to the playlist and it fucks everything up. Now my C: drive is full but it really shouldn't be? Where are these files?

I have Windows XP.

Can somebody help me?

1. I'll take a stab at this--

Try Start--My Computer--C Drive--Documents and Settings--(Your Name) Folder--My Documents--My Music--iTunes Folder. Look in this folder to see what you can safely delete. I hope this works. Good luck.

2. I just figured out another way you can find where your files are stored...

Click on a song in your iTunes library, then go up to the top tool bar and select "file", on the drop down list select "Show Song File" this will open up a box showing the folder where the song file is located on your computer. You can look at the address bar on this box to find out where all your song files are stored. The file may be hidden at this time.

To display hidden files and folders: Open Folder Options in Control Panel. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Folder Options. On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

You'll be surprised by what shows up when you can look at all these "hidden" files and folders.
