Verizon DSL users...I am considering their 14.95 offer....what is your

opinion of their service? Pro and con.

1. Verizon's been very good ...

i have their $29.95 a month service with a 3 MB line ... in the last year and half or so since i installed it, i've had zero down time ... a friend just installed Verizon's fiberoptic connection ... i think that costs $34.95 a month but it gets you a 5 mb line ... and for $44.95, they have a 15 mb fiberoptic line ...

btw, dsl service is not available at all locations ... put your phone number in at this website to see if you can get it: www.verizon.net

other things to consider:
1. you have to have local phone service from Verizon to get their dsl service
2. does the $14.95 service include the Westell Versalink router? it's nice to get because the dsl modem includes a built-in wireless router in case you want to go wireless (with a second computer sharing the same dsl connection)...
