My experience with gMail - if you're using Hotmail - STOP!

Currently, you'll need a cell phone with text messaging to join, but the calendar app alone is worth it.

My favorite part is the fact that it doesn't send spam with every email like Hotmail does...

3. Why do you need an invite to join?

Just curious....I use netzero as my 'alternate' e-mail addy. I checked out gmail, it looks really good, though.

5. Their excuse is to control spam...

...by adding the extra step, they eliminate the possiblity of someone using a computer program to automatically join hundreds of times and automatically send out spam...
