named the kitten wrong

We rescued a kitten about 4 weeks ago from my workplace. Named her Calypso (Caly for short)

:sigh: should have named her MONK. She is single-minded and won't be deterred from whatever interests her. Especially if it makes a crinkle/crackle sound...

We had some ice-cream sandwiches last night -- she became obsessed with the wrappers. Kept flipping over the trash can to get it -- it's not the ice cream she's after just the wrapper. Does the same thing with any crinkly sounding paper. We pulled the wrappers out of the waste basket in the bedroom and tossed them into the kitchen trashcan - which is covered. She spent at least an hour scratching the can, circling it and jumping on it - trying to get the wrappers...

She also gets obsessed with what we have called the "Niagra Game". To keep her occupied we'll throw a paper bag or small box on the bed, and yep - she crawls into it - but then pushes it to the end of the bed until she falls off the bed (usually lands on the dog) - so we say she's going over Niagra Falls in a paper bag/box...
