My stepdaughter has 6 of them. Do you have a particular question? I can ask her if you do.

3. We have four. 3 was great, they all got along together. #4 is twice as |
|
big as the others, he's about 5.5 lbs. He's too agressive and tries to beat up on and hump the other ones at night so we have to put him in "solitary". They are great pets though. My wife and I are dog people, but I rate ferrets way ahead of cats in my book (sorry DU cat fans!).

4. I have four and they are the absolute light of my life. |

Sorry about sounding corny, but my ferrets are my favorite things in the world (just after my husband, of course). I would advise you to go for it and get another one. Or two. They are social animals.

and doubt I will ever go ferretless again in my life. I would say read lots online about them, since more info is out there and if you decide to get one look for a ferret shelter in your area. Too many people don't understand the care and cost of ferrets and so give them up.

7. I've always wanted to have one |
|
But have never taken the plunge. I worry about a ferret with the cats and I'd hate to keep the ferret penned up all the time.

much free range, meaning they are hardly ever caged, the get along great with the cats though one does like to terrorize the biggest cat. When it comes down to it the cats are the ones that might get in trouble more than the ferrets. All the cats have learned how to hide their paws from sharp little teeth when they do not feel like playing. I never leave them alone unattended though. The cats get shut out of the rooms with ferrets when I am not there to supervise. (The dogs and birds are regulated to the first floor for safety.)
