New pics of my little feral Chance...
He routinely lets me play with him now, but only with toys a couple feet long... no touching!LOL! He is still wary of me when I walk toward him, but he doesn't automatically flee from the room when I enter anymore, and he has come a LONG WAY from staying in hiding when he first got here! He wrestles with the older kitten, Jennings, who is almost double his size. It's so funny to see the little guy totally pounce on him, and then they disappear into a furry blur!

5. Wow, your ferral is coming along nice!
My ferral won't get on a sofa yet. She only gets on the cat toy when I'm not looking.

Chance looks great. He looks domesticated in these pictures.

6. He's a very handsome boy.
Just keep at it, one day he'll walk up and rub up against you and mark you as his own :P.

In the meantime just keep plying him with kitty treats :)

7. He actually jumped on my bed this weekend!
while I was in it!!! Of course, I pretended to still be asleep, while I peeked through slightly open eyes, and watched him playing with kitty Katherine. I wiggled my toes and he pounced and bit them, apparently not realizing that was me! he he he! he even walked right by my head to peek out through the window. When he wasn't watching, I gently stroked his back as he jumped off the bed.

When walking around the house, the distance he keeps from me gets smaller and smaller. I just hope he comes around soon. The younger he is when he's ready for adoption, the better his chances.

9. LOL
It could happen... but as long as my future plans are up in the air, I won't let myself adopt. I'll keep him as long as he needs a home, but if someone can give him a definite permanent home, I'll have to let him go.

I should be debt-free within 2 years, and am seriously considering the Peace Corps, and since I consider adopting a pet a 20 year commitment, I am trying to stick with fostering until I know for sure what my plans will be.
