Dropped isabella off for spay, vet called, he can't have one.

Isabella was the "mom" to the ferral kitten I took in. He always showed up with his kitten to eat on a porch at the back of my apt complex.

He fought the person who caught his kitten then stayed where the kitten was caught so my friend picked him up and brought him to my house that day too.

Both have been with me for nearly 2 months.

Isabella refuses to leave my bedroom and never wants outside.

He's still always mothering his kitten in my bedroom. I would never have guessed he was male...

The kitten(pounce quick) gets spayed saturday then both get listed on pet finder to find them forever homes.

She's already renamed him isadore. She said it's a guy name...?

They caught on to the fact I have a lot more than 2 cats.

I was going to find them homes anyway so I could keep rescuing strays.

and "he" returned spayed. Puck is such a Tomboy that I never would have guessed that "he" is a she!

7. Oh that's good. Puck's adorable.

She does look boyish in a tomboy way. At least puck has been played by men and women on stage.

9. Yeah-like Peter Pan. At least that was one saving grace about the

name (plus-she's such an imp. "Titania" is just too elegant for rough and tumble Puck).Maybe Isabella could be "Izzy" or "Istanbul". I think Isadora is a woman's name too. :shrug:

11. Same thing happened to a friend of mine who rescued a Himalayan

she found wandering around her neighborhood. The kitty had been named "Girl Cat" by the time the vet appointment rolled around and is now introduced as "Girl Cat, our transgendered feline."

It's not unusual, by the way, for young tomcats to play nanny/babysitter to kittens. As for Isabella's name, "Isidora" with an "a" is feminine, "Isidore" with an "e" is masculine.
