Names for the kittens...
I was thinking I'd name the kittens after some good Democrats. The two calicos should be female. I don't know if the other two are male or female, so any suggestions would be welcomed. The only one I have settled on is Molly (Ivins) :-D

Some people names don't make great cat names, so what dem's do you think have good cat names?

1. Hmmm, definitely need a Russ (Feingold) seeing as how
they were born the week of the censure resolution. How about a Conyers?

2. I'm not so sure Conyers fits as a cat name...
and John is just too common a people name, but what about Connie for a girl after him?

4. Wesley rocks as a cat name.
And you can call what's left in the litterbox "Santorum", as in "honey, did you see how much santorum there is in the litter box? Why hasn't anyone scooped it today?"

5. You can't go wrong with "Wellstone" or "Carter"...
Rosa is lovely for a girl - :-)

I'd suggest "Kucinich" but I don't think you would go for it...

12. Kooch!
I have an "I (heart) the Kooch" tshirt that always get smiles. DJK is amused by his nickname, and I think it's a great name for a little boy cat.

7. You should name one after yourself. Either your first or
middle name. Or you could name one Eleanor (Roosevelt) and one Franklin (Roosevelt). I wish I could see them in person. Baby kitties make the world go 'round.

11. How about "Emily" as in
"Emily's list"? Dean and Kerry make good first names too. "Jefferson" would also be cute for a little boy.

15. Not sure yet!
I figure I'll wait until they start developing their personalities a bit, see if I can figure out if the non-calicos are boys or girls, and decide. One will definitely be Molly. I like Boxer a lot for a boy. I like the other names too, but haven't been able to decide between them yet!
