This is a feel good local story.....
From news reports it turns out the dog had a severe kidney infection.

How many police are also certified vet techs!? Great story.

We all love our pets, but when they're seeing-eye dogs too.....

3. Yes, and I especially liked that a stranger contributed $150 to
help pay the bill. The woman is blind and her husband has lung and brain cancer (if I remember correctly) so their money is being spent on his treatment.
