our 18 yr old cat goes to the vet in an hour or so
she's been peeing in inappropriate places --- grrrrrrr our bed

twice in the past couple of days... ennywhoooo... doing an internet search I found that it may be a urinary tract infection - so off to the vet to see if that's the problem

don't know what we are going to do if it's not

we have had not BIG changes in the household immediately prior to this occurring

same cat litter we've always been using - and it gets cleaned everyday, doesn't have deoderizers or that sort of thing in it...

3. sometimes seniors get confused...
and I don't mean just humans. :-) She may have an infection and isn't able to get to the box as fast as she used to? Or a touch of arthritis? Hope she's ok!

5. we are trying antibiotics
vet said we could try the antibiotics first, if that doesn't help - then back for blood work...

the vet did mention it could also be senility...

then again - it could just be Dutchess's timid personality. She's known as the phantom-furball -- hides alot always has. My partner suggest that she may get startled/frightened when she's on the bed and has to go - that one of the other critters may be moving about, scaring her and then she can't hold it..

oh well, we'll see -- antibiotics twice a day until meds are gone
