I borrowed my mother's digital camera and took a few shots of my cats.

Here is Damien, the little stray that came to stay...


and Loki, our newest adoptee from a rescue group...


They've only known each other for about a month or so, but I think they'll be good friends.

1. What lovely boys. They do look like they're bonding. My

two boys have been together for 5 years now and are just now really getting along well. There was much competition for the first couple of years. Now, they will even sleep on the same bed within a few inches of each other, which I think is a major milestone.

Hope you and your sweet kitties will have many happy, healthy days. Thanks for posting their pictures.

6. Well, I have to admit that getting them to pose together

involved catnip and a laser pointer. ;)

Loki's foster home for the first 5 years of his life was a dog rescue, so he is just now learning to play like a cat. When his foster mom brought him over to check out his reaction to me and my house, I gave him catnip for the first time. He got the most beautific look on his face, his eyes glazed over, and he started writhing in pure joy on the carpet. Alarmed, his foster mom said, "Is he OKAY?" I assured her he was QUITE well.
