VET RECORDS ARE ON THE WAY!!! YEA!!!

my partner received a call from the Attorney General's office yesterday. They have our records and are mailing them out!! YEA!!! :applause: :party:

sort of funny .. last week my partner left a voice mail message to confirm that the AG's office was obtaining records

yesterday - the AG was going through the records, he had ours in his hand and listening to voice mail messages. My partner's message was playing at the same time he picked up our records from the pile... weird? why do I hear the twilight zone theme song playing in my head???

we should have them by the end of the week.

other good news - the vet isn't under any sort of investigation, and "rumor" has it she is going to open her own practice soon..

My partner also called the reporter to let her know we were getting the records and to thank her for writing the stories.

the reporter also mentioned she is trying to get confirmation - but from the information she has - the kennel owners were also in trouble with animal inspectors in New Jersey (prior to moving to PA)...

1. Yeah! So who was under investigation??

Was it the boarding facility? Wouldn't the vet know if the adjoining facility was treating animals badly? :(

3. it was a kennel

grooming, vet clinic combination

owned by a couple, vet was employee there

original owner sold the businesss to the couple about 2-3 years ago.

2. That is great news. Must be a big relief to know that.

Would you go back to that vet if she opens her own practice, or are you a little suspicious of the whole situation? I think I would be a bit nervous myself.

YEA!!!!

good thing too - all three of the dogs need updated shots (except for rabies - they are good for that until next year)

nothing new on the kennel owners - except they are appealing their sentencing and rumor says they are selling, will be moving back to NY - presumably after serving their sentence
