My cat likes to chase the mouse pointer on my computer screen!
Boots is at it again! When I try to read something on DU, or am installing a newly downloaded program, or even playing a game that requires a lot of mouse movement, that cat either stalks the mouse pointer and pounces, or plants his ass right in front of the screen and swats at the moving mouse pointer.

What do I do to stop him?

1. You can't, LOL!
I don't mean to laugh, but cats just seem to love anything about computers. Parts move and things come up! My cat participated in e-mails with me and I was always afraid that she'd post on DU, for me, if I left the room, with the computer still on. I lost my kitty, within the year, and I miss her. Enjoy yours and don't worry about him posting on DU for you. DUers love animals, especially kitties. Nobody will mind.

4. Well, they don't like loud noises, LOL!
But love to chase anything that moves. My previous kitty would go after my fingers while I was typing. If I kept on, she'd finally either start batting at my hands or gnawing on my fingers!:D

5. My younger cat used to love sitting on top of the monitor.
He could spend all evening watching the pointer and chasing it around. When I got a flat-screen monitor last year, he sulked for days.

7. Close the door when you're online. Cat needs to be elsewhere.
