OK, now I've seen everything, my Rosie Kitty is NUTS!
This morning I washed out the nearly-empty water bowl and filled it with fresh water for everyone to drink while I'm at work. A few minutes later, I hear this splashing sound. Have you ever seen a cat that likes to play in water?

Water all over the floor!

Water all over the rugs!

Did any get inside the kitty?

Maybe a little.

Un-stinking-real.

1. Funny!
Didn't she come into your home a few days ago? If so, she's already feeling comfortable and at home. Good job!

4. I had a kitty who loved to play with her water dish and the dripping tub faucet!

I would suggest a shallow pan (with a cotton non-slip rug under it to absorb the water) for your new kitty to play in! Rosie will be happy and have very clean paws! BTW, she's a cutie pie! I have a brown tabby too!

5. That is funny!
She's a water cat! Is her brother normal? What is his expression when she does this?

6. You have a water kitty, like us
:)

Our guy loves to splash, will lay in the sink with the water running all over him, doesn't really freak out if you put him in the running shower...He's a freak.

7. I have never ever seen a kitty that likes water!
Her brother looks at her like she is out of her mind, and wants no part of the "fun". I used to bathe (rarely) my dearly departed Puddykat when he was a kitten, and he just hated it. He wouldn't fight me, but he gave out the most pitious Meows like I was torturing him. He could not wait to get out of the bath, and he would hide from me all day!

8. Thanks for the cute, cute pictures--she is feeling so at home with you!
This is terrific--weren't they hiding under the sofa yesterday? I think these two are going to keep you hopping. Have fun with your beautiful tabbies.

9. use to have one cat that would wash his "toys" in the water bowl
he would pick up his little jingle-ball, or catnip stuffed toy or whatever he was playing with at the moment - and drop it into the water bowl

paw at it for 5-10 minutes, then scoop it out and continue to play with it

if I didn't know better, I'd swear he was part raccoon
