Self-Indulgent post, but I miss my Rubyduby
Two years ago today, my beloved little Rubyduby passed away. She was my baby and I still miss her terribly. Sorry for such a self-indulgent post, but I knew you guys would understand.

2. My little "Cushings Boy" Happy
He was the bravest boy I ever met.

When I adopted him in 1997 he had two broken legs and was covered with cigarette burns.

He forgave us humans for all of that and he was always sweet and kind to all.

It's been two years since he passed and I miss his strength and courage in my life every day.

8. I lost a dog to Cushing's in 2000
Your boy is so cute! I didn't have a digital camera then, so I can't post a picture. It broke my heart to lose Misty that way. She was a Lab/Shepherd mix and 13.5 years old. I actually had to suggest to my Vet that Cushings is what she had!

10. I had the same problem.
I also diagnosed Happy after researching his symptoms. My Vet treated him for every major symptom of cushings without ever putting it all together. (X-Vet)

Any one facing this disease with their pet should please feel free to contact me by e-mail.

I spent three years in specialist's offices and fortune at the AMC in new york

3. What a sweet little dog
I am sure you miss her, it is a terrible loss when you love someone so much. I dread the day when one of mine crosses the bridge. They are such a part of my life.

I've been sick this week, and my cats are right there with me every minute like they know something is wrong and mom needs warm fuzzies.

So you go ahead and tell us how much you miss your girl, we sure do understand, and send hugs from all of our furkids to you.

6. Not self indulgent at all. My Sonic crossed the bridge 12/1/04 and
I am still very very sad. Every once in a while I become so overwhelmed with sorrow it takes my breath away.

I have been dreaming about him alot lately and the morning after the first dream was horrible. I woke up thinking he was alive and I felt like I experienced his death all over again. I loved that dog so much I know I will miss him forever.

What a great picture of Ruby. I posted Sonic's pictures alot the first month. My last post:

 She's a beautiful dog. Think of the good times.

I lost my dog Ranger two years ago on Valentine's Day.

9. Of course we understand!
Pets are members of the family and are missed when they are gone. I would be more inclined to think you were self indulgent if you didn't remember.

11. Rubyduby's still watching over you in spirit
Two years ago tomorrow, my cats Sylvester and Tweety had to be put down: Sylvester, because he had serious asthma, and Tweet, because she suffered from cat flu which had been getting worse. Both, because I could no longer care for them--that's the year my mom died.
