He's on Wellness Kitten Health, Wet and Dry. Is it time to start the transition? The bag only lists up to 12 months, so...

I'll call the Vet, of course, but I figured I'd check in with my homies down here first. :)

:hi:

1. I think you can switch him to adult food now.
But where are the photos? We will need to see his birthday party pictures, of course.

4. Awww, thank you! It's unbelievable, looking at the pics..
It seems like just yesterday he was this tiny little munchkin, and now he's a big ol' hellion who's constantly underfoot and knocking over everything in sight!

Yes, he learned how to get on the kitchen counters and the dressers recently.

5. Beautiful boy!
Looks like the boy we adopted from a shelter on March 1. Your fur baby looks very well cared for and I'm sure you'll keep doing the best thing for him. :hi:

6. Awww, thank you!!
We try to do our best by him. Only the best for our little man. The Vet always comments on how healthy his fur is and how he is growing!

:)

7. That's reward enough in itself.
He's a full fledged family member, I'll bet.

8. Of course! He rules this house!!
I wouldn't let anyone else wake me up at 4am simply b/c they're bored and want to play!

We adore him, even if he's a little hellion lately. His newly found jumping abilities are...trying at times. I've run out of places to stash things, other than closets...

9. Time to switch!
Like babies, there's nothing magical about the birthdate, but at 12 months, he's ready to transition to adult food. No need for the extra calories, etc. anymore.

I actually had to take Kyra off the kitten food when she was about 8 months old...she had digestive issues. The vet told me then that as long as her food was high quality (as Wellness clearly is), then the kitten food wasn't horribly necessary. She's doing fine on adult food (she'll be 1 in June).
